N4Nite's Sprint Cup Series

Pabst Racing Shootout -- Daytona Beach, FL - Friday night at 5:55PM, VRN Radio will begin coverage of the Pabst Racing Shootout from Daytona. Tune in as the new VRN team brings you all of the action live from the track.

Biggar Motorsports -- Daytona Beach, FL -- Biggar Motorsports announced today their driver and sponsor lineup for the 2008 N4Nite's Sprint Cup Season. David Biggar will drive the #57 Biagi Bros. Ford Fusion (with new sponsor Jr Talk) in 6 races this season: Pabst Racing Shootout @ Daytona, VRN Open @ Lowe's, Dave Porter 350k @ Infineon, Pepsi 400 @ Daytona, VRN Radio at the Glen @ Watkins Glen, Bay Bridge Towing 500 @ Talladega. Phil Holifield will possible also make 2 starts at the road courses in the #53 Toyota Camry.

Fast Laps -- VRN Broadcast Headquarters, Davis, CA - [[VRN Press Release]]: David Biggar, driver of the #57 Ford Fusion, ran faster laps (during pracitce) than Dave Porter on a few tracks in 2007. The tracks were Atlanta, and Phoenix. (VRN PR)

Rafuse Racing Team Changes -- Atlanta, GA -- The team will be split into two teams, with Bobby and Caye Rafuse remaining at Rafuse Motor Sports, along with the addition of new driver, Ben Simmons. The 47 of Bobby, the 74 of Caye, and the 12 of Ben will all be switching to Dodge as manufacurers platforms. The remainder of the team, the 37 of Phil Fross, the 44 of Charles Moyer, and the 67 of Chuck Hoskins, will now be on the new sister team, CPC Racing, and will remain in their Chevrolet manufacturers platform. This will not effect any affiliation of any of these drivers with regards to N4Nites.

VRN Radio Equipment Update -- VRN Broadcast Headquarters, Davis, CA - VRN Radio will be updating its broadcast equipment within the next few weeks allowing for improved sound quality and music overlay, which has not been in the broadcast since the first broadcast of this year. VRN Radio has said that they wish to have the updates finished before the VRN All-Star Race in May.
